JS Momentum Factor ETF Trading Schedule Revised Due to Contract Split

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) announced a revised trading and settlement schedule for the JS Momentum Factor Exchange Traded Funds (JSMFETF) following the announcement of a book closure date for the company. The adjustments affect Deliverable Future Contracts (DFC) for June, July, and August 2025.

For the JSMFETF, the trading on a cum-benefit basis will adhere to the following schedule: the June 2025 contract, which opened on April 3, 2025, will now close on June 23, 2025, with settlement occurring on June 25, 2025. Similarly, the July 2025 contract, opened on April 28, 2025, will also close on June 23, 2025, with the same settlement date. The August 2025 contract opened on June 2, 2025, will follow an identical closing and settlement timeline.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the trading and settlement schedule without the entitlement of benefit is as follows: the July B (JULB) contract, starting on June 20, 2025, will close on July 25, 2025, with settlement on July 29, 2025. The August B (AUGB) contract, also beginning on June 20, 2025, will conclude on August 29, 2025, with settlement on September 2, 2025.

The last trading day for the JSMFETF-JUN contract has been altered to June 23, 2025, from the previously scheduled date of June 27, 2025, to accommodate the company's book closure. This change results in an overlapping period of two trading days, June 20, 2025, and June 23, 2025, where the securities will be traded on an ex-benefit basis in the JULB and AUGB contracts, making them ineligible for entitlement.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange reserves the right to modify these dates or adjust the contracts if necessary.
