Karachi: The Mahaana Islamic Index ETF (MIIETF) will experience a temporary suspension of its creation and redemption process in the primary market, effective from May 29, 2025, to May 30, 2025. This suspension follows the guidelines set forth in Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, Clause 5.6.1(a) of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulations, and Clause 6.5.2 of the Offering Document of MIIETF.
The temporary suspension will impact the primary market, where the creation and redemption of shares will be halted during the specified period. However, trading in the secondary market will continue without interruption. TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange have been informed about the temporary suspension, ensuring that all relevant parties are aware of the operational changes during the specified dates. The ETF's management is expected to resume normal operations following the end of the temporary suspension.
