MCB Investment Management Limited Announces Book Closure for Multiple Funds

Karachi: MCB Investment Management Limited has announced the book closure for several of its collective investment schemes for two days in June 2025. The investment management firm will close the Register of Unit Holders on June 26 and June 27, 2025, affecting a range of funds.

The affected funds include the MCB Pakistan Dividend Yield Plan, Alhamra Opportunity Fund, MCB Pakistan Stock Market Fund, MCB Pakistan Asset Allocation Fund, Alhamra Islamic Stock Fund, Alhamra Islamic Asset Allocation Fund, and Pakistan Capital Market Fund. During this period, no transactions such as sales, redemptions, conversions, or transfers will be processed.

Applications for these transactions will be accepted by the authorized branches of the distribution companies up to June 25, 2025. Unit Holders whose names appear in the register at the close of business on this date will be eligible for any dividends approved by the Board of Directors of MCB Investment Management Limited. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these funds are part of a designated market category.

Normal transactions in the units of these funds are set to resume on June 30, 2025. MCB Investment Management Limited has advised Unit Holders to update any changes in their addresses or other personal details with the Investor Services Department to ensure continued services.

MCB Investment Management Limited, as the management company for these funds, will oversee the book closure process. The firm has not yet specified any potential dividends that may be declared for these funds, pending board approval.
