Karachi: MetaTech Trading Limited (META), a well-known entity on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, will be delisted effective Monday, August 05, 2024. This development follows the completion of its merger with Big Bird Foods Limited (BBFL), as announced in Notice No. PSX/N-671 dated July 15, 2024.

The delisting marks a significant transition for META, which has merged into BBFL. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the merger has met all required conditions, paving the way for MetaTech’s name to be removed from the trading lists. This strategic move is part of a broader amalgamation strategy, with BBFL being the surviving entity in this corporate realignment.

Shareholders of MetaTech have been issued shares of BBFL according to the agreed Swap Ratio, indicating a seamless transition of equity interests. The stakeholders of both companies are encouraged to note these changes as BBFL continues to trade under its existing framework on the Exchange.
