Karachi: Several shareholders from different banks have reported the loss of share certificates, with potential replacements pending if no objections are raised within seven days, according to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
THK Associates (Pvt.) Limited announced that Faisal Jawaid of Karachi's D.H.A Phase VII has reported the loss of several certificates under Folio No. 41304, spanning distinct numbers from 452991180 to 1138132099. The total loss involves 79 shares across multiple certificates, with each bearing unique numbers and details.
In another case, MCB Bank Limited revealed the loss of shares under Folio No. 109841, reported by Rahmat Bushra. Located in Landhi, Karachi, the certificates numbered 1711037 and 1711038 represented a total of 126 shares.
Summit Bank Limited also registered a complaint from Sheikh Nasir Ahmed in Lahore, where 500 shares were reported lost under Certificate No. 78539. The shares are associated with distinctive numbers ranging from 339244001 to 339244500.
Similarly, Ismail Industries Limited reported a loss of 500 shares under Folio No. 950, notified by Muhammad Moeen from Johar Town, Lahore. The loss spans Certificate Nos. 69542 to 69546, affecting shares from 6954101 to 6954600.
The respective banks have issued notices across the exchange network, advising members to refrain from dealing in these certificates. If no objections are received within the specified period, duplicate certificates will be issued to the affected shareholders.
