Islamabad: Trading of Pakistan Energy Sukuk-I, managed by Power Holding Limited, will be suspended from August 22, 2024, to facilitate the 11th profit payment to investors.
The suspension affects the Sukuk, commonly known as [PESC1], which is issued by Power Holding Limited, a key entity in Pakistan's energy sector. The company has announced the book closure dates from August 23, 2024, to August 29, 2024, during which the profit payment will be processed to the Sukuk holders. Trading is set to resume on August 30, 2024, following the completion of this transaction.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this suspension is a routine measure to ensure that all transactions related to the profit payment are settled without discrepancies. The PSX and Power Holding Limited have requested all concerned parties and investors to take note of the trading halt during this period to avoid any inconvenience.
