Karachi: Trading in the Sukuk of BankIslami Pakistan Limited (BIPLSC) will be suspended from July 29, 2024, to July 31, 2024, due to the scheduled book closure for profit payment.

BankIslami Pakistan Limited has announced a book closure from July 30, 2024, to July 31, 2024, for the profit payment of their Sukuk, identified as BIPLSC. The suspension of trading is a routine procedure to facilitate the distribution of profits to the Sukuk holders.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), trading in the said Sukuk will resume on August 01, 2024, following the completion of the profit distribution process.

All stakeholders and concerned parties are advised to take note of the trading suspension dates to adjust their investment activities accordingly.
