Lahore: Systems Limited has announced the approval of its acquisition of British American Tobacco SAA Services (Private) Limited. The decision, made on July 29, 2025, was confirmed during a Board meeting. This strategic move involves purchasing the Target Company from British American Tobacco International Holdings (UK) Limited.

The Target Company specializes in Information Technology and IT-led shared and digital business services. These services encompass a wide range of operations, including consumer and customer services through an Omni-channel contact center, as well as marketing, HR, finance, procurement, and supply chain operations. This aligns with Systems Limited's focus on business process outsourcing.

Systems Limited also finalized a Share Purchase Agreement on the same day, detailing the acquisition's terms and conditions, including the total purchase price. The transaction's completion depends on meeting certain conditions and obtaining necessary regulatory approvals.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the associated company of Systems Limited, Techvista Systems FZ LLC, simultaneously entered into a long-term Master Services Agreement with Accenture (UK) Limited. This agreement, effective July 29, 2025, involves the provision of AI-powered global shared services through the Target Company.

The acquisition and subsequent agreements are poised to enhance Systems Limited's market position in the designated market category of business process outsourcing services.
