Trust Modaraba Sees Fluctuations as Major Shareholder Engages in Transactions

Karachi: Recent activity in the certificates of Trust Modaraba has captured attention as significant transactions were executed by a major shareholder, Mr. Faisal Abdul Sattar Pakhali, according to a disclosure of interest.

On June 16, 2025, Mr. Pakhali sold 81,199 certificates at an average rate of 7.37, reducing his cumulative shareholding to 14.82 million, representing 49.73%. The following day, June 17, 2025, Mr. Pakhali continued his trading activities by selling an additional 148,284 certificates at an average rate of 6.88. This transaction further decreased his shareholding to 14.67 million, accounting for 49.23%.

However, later on June 17, 2025, Mr. Pakhali shifted his strategy by purchasing 274,482 certificates at an average rate of 6.71. This move increased his cumulative shareholding to 14.95 million, elevating his ownership to 50.15%.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the percentage changes in shareholding due to these transactions are classified as follows: the initial sale on June 16 and the subsequent sale on June 17 both reflect a Minor move, while the purchase later on June 17 signifies a Minor move as well.
