Karachi: United Bank Limited (UBL) announced the disbursement of its Second Interim Cash Dividend for the year 2026, as per a report dated August 7, 2026. The Board of Directors approved a dividend of Rs. 8 per share, equivalent to 160%, during its meeting on July 22, 2026. The dividend has been credited to the bank accounts designated by eligible shareholders.
The bank has withheld dividends for shareholders who have not submitted valid Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC) or passport numbers, along with complete details of designated bank accounts (IBAN). This action aligns with Regulation No. 06 of the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017, and Section 242 (3) of the Companies Act, 2017.
Shareholders with book-entry securities in the Central Depository System (CDS) are advised to update their information with CDS Participants or Stock Brokers. For physical securities, updates should be sent to the Share Registrar and Transfer Agent, M/s. THK Associates (Pvt.) Ltd., located at Plot No. 32-C, Jami Commercial Street - 2, D.H.A. Phase - VII, Karachi.
