Ghani Global Glass Limited to Hold 19th Annual General Meeting in Lahore

Lahore: Ghani Global Glass Limited (GGGL), a key player in the industrial glass manufacturing sector, announced its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, 2025, at the company's registered office in Lahore. The meeting is set to commence at 12:00 p.m., aiming to address and resolve critical business matters.

During the AGM, stakeholders will review and adopt the Annual Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. These statements will be presented alongside the Directors' and Auditors' Reports. The company will also appoint auditors for the upcoming fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, with the retiring auditors, M/s Crowe Hussain Chaudhury & Co., expressing their willingness to continue in their role.

A significant agenda item involves the election of seven directors to serve a three-year term starting October 31, 2026. The retiring directors include Hafiz Farooq Ahmad, Mr. Atique Ahmad Khan, Mr. Abdullah Ahmed, Mr. Asim Mahmud, Syed Sibtul Hassan Gilani, Ms. Saima Shafi Rana, and Sheikh Muhammad Saleem Ahsan.

Additionally, the meeting will propose several financial resolutions. Notably, there is a proposal to increase the investment in Ghani Global Holdings Limited from Rs. 300 million to Rs. 400 million. Similarly, an increase is proposed for Ghani Chemical Industries Limited, from Rs. 400 million to Rs. 500 million, and for Ghani ChemWorld Limited, from Rs. 200 million to Rs. 300 million. These investments will be structured as long-term running musharakah, pending approval through special resolutions under section 199 of the Companies Act, 2017.
